Preparing your pets food
In this episode I show how I prepare Species Balanced™ pet food for my cats, Ang and Cam, by adding a little warm water to help keep them hydrated and healthy.
Adding water to pets food year round is a great way to keep them hydrated, and in summer it's good to mix in a little extra water to account for the heat. But it's not just summer as even air-conditioning is enough to create a dry air environment. More detail can be found in the article here:

Furfam Spotlight
This weeks Furfam Spotlight is on my other cat Cam.
A rescue cat like his brother Ang, Cam loves attention and, like the picture demonstrates, he'll inset himself into any situation to get it. One of his favorite past times is to scratch at a door and then run and hide just before it's opened – not exactly my favorite game, but it seems to keep him entertained. Cam is quite the fussy eater and inspired many of the tips in the Diet Transitioning series and the recent post titled Preparing your pets food. Originally an indoor cat he has adopted very well to being outside during the day and always returns home to wait at the door meowing for his Species Balanced™ supper.
Cam's favorite food is warm chicken soup – Species Balanced™ Steamed Chicken mixed with some warm water.
