Welcome to part 2, the conclusion of this two part series showing just how safe it is to ship frozen Balanced Blends pet food direct to your door, even on the hottest of days.
In part 1 we showed that the inside temperature of the Balanced Blends shipping box remained below -60F when left outside in temperatures exceeding 110F. Conclusion
Yes, it is safe. The quantity of dry ice included in the box is calculated based on the temperature at the destination so we've got you covered on the hot days, too. That said, you should always aim to get the food into your freezer on the day of delivery.
