Food Recalls

-Life in plastic is certainly not fantastic, as the latest recall shows us. Mizkan America, the company who owns Ragu, issued a recall for five of their sauces due to possible contamination by plastic. This is on the heels of Tyson Chicken’s recall last week for plastic pieces in their chicken fritters. Yikes.

Another Flour Recall

-Last week we talked about the importance of not eating raw cookie dough. If you haven’t yet heard, 4,600 cases of Pillsbury’s “Best Bread” flour was recalled from 10 states due to contamination by e.coli. Click on the link to see if yours is one of the affected states!
