Pathogens in raw cookie dough
-Put down the spoon, and back away from the raw cookie dough! As appealing as it is, it’s in your best interest not to eat raw dough, as it’s very difficult for the industry to control contamination from such pathogens as salmonella and e. coli. The best option is to make sure you thoroughly cook any products that have wheat flour in them.

Blackberry recall
-Frozen berries are a common smoothie ingredient. However, due to the way berries are processed and packaged, it’s difficult to ensure they aren’t contaminated. Costco’s Kirkland brand is currently part of a recall of blackberries that are contaminated with Hepatitis A.
